Marking Program ng Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) at Bureau of Customs (BOC), ibinunyag ni Senador Raffy Tulfo ang mga pangalan ng mga pinaghihinalaang big time oil smuggler ng langis sa bansa.
Diretsahang pinangalanan ng senador ang isang Don Rabonza na umano ay oil smuggler sa Navotas at ng asukal galing sa Hong Kong.
Sina Sonny Qiu, Jackie Chu, Aron Uy at Lindon Tan na mga oil smugglers umano sa Batangas at Quezon.
Sina Alex Cua, Bogs Violagu, Jong Mangundadatu at Dondon Alahas ng Mariveles, Bataan.
Hindi naman nakapagpresinta ng ebidensya sa nasabing hearing si Sen. Tulfo kaugnay sa alegasyon.
Sinabi ni BOC Special Agent II Anthony Escandor na hindi siya pamilyar sa mga pangalan nabanggit ng senador.
“You (Escandor) are not the right person to be here. I want to see the (BOC) Commissioner (Yogi Felimon Ruiz),” wika ng senador.
Ikinadismaya din ni Tulfo na walang dumalong matataas na opisyal mula sa mga inimbitahang ahensya.
Dahil dito, plano niyang magpatawag ng hiwalay na pagdinig tungkol sa oil smuggling. Humiling din siya sa Senate Blue Ribbon Committee na imbestigahan ang nasabing isyu.
