Tatlumpu’t limang mga doktor ang nakatakdang magsanay sa forensic pathology sa ilalim ng pagtuturo ni forensic expert na si Dr. Morris Tidball-Binz, ayon kay Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla.
Si Dr. Tidball-Binz ay isang eksperto ng United Nations na dumating sa bansa nitong lunes, Feb. 6, para sa tatlong araw na pagbisita.
Ayon kay Remulla, nakipagkasundo ang Department of Justice (DOJ) kay Dr. Tidball-Binz na magsagawa ng 21-day forensic training upang paghusayin pa ang pagsisiyasat sa kaso ng pagkamatay ng isang tao sa bansa.
Isasagawa ang nasabing pagsasanay sa muling pagbisita ni Dr. Tidball-Binz sa Mayo o Agosto, ayon kay Remulla.
“We’re looking forward when he comes back,” ani ng kalihim. “We would have already prepared a class for 35 medical doctors.”
Bukod sa mga doktor, makikibahagi rin sa mangyayaring pagsasanay ang mga government prosecutor o piskal.
“The capacity building is not only for forensic pathology but also with investigative work,” paliwanag ni Remulla.
