Tuluyan nang ibinasura ng Commission on Election (COMELEC) ang disqualification case laban kay Sen. Raffy Tulfo.
Ito ang naging desisyon ng Comelec en banc sa inihaing motion for reconsideration ni Julieta Licup Pearson para ikansela ang certificate of candidacy ni Tulfo noong 2022 senatorial race.
Sa siyam na pahinang resolusyon, hindi napatunayan ng mosyon ang mga sapat na ebidensya laban kay Tulfo at hindi rin napatunayan na labag sa batas ang unang desisyon ng pagbasura sa disqualification case ng First Division base sa Section 1, Rule 19 ng Comelec Rules of Procedure.
Ipinaliwanag pa ng Comelec en banc na wala na sa kanilang hurisdiksyon ang kaso matapos naiproklamang Senador si Tulfo noong Mayo 18, 2022.
Nasa hurisdiksyon na ng Senate Electoral Tribune (SET) ang lahat ng election contests ukol sa mga miyembro ng Senado.
Unang nabasura ang disqualification case laban kay Tulfo noong Marso 4, 2022.
Naghain muli motion for reconsideration si Pearson at nauwi nga sa sa pagbasura nito nitong Pebrero 28, 2023.
