Bida sa laro sina Vanie Gandler at Faith Nisperos na kapwa nagtala ng 14 points. impresibo din ang laro ni rookie Geezel Tsunashima na nag-ambag ng 13 points.
Nanguna naman para sa UE si KC Cepada sa kanyang 14 points.
Ito ang unang panalo ng Blue Eagles matapos talunin sila ng defending champion NU Lady Bulldogs noong February 25.
Sa kabila ng magandang team effort ng Ateneo, pinuri ni Blue Eagles Coach Oliver Almadro ang laro ni Tsunashima.
“I’m happy that Zel delivered. At first, she has a different role for us. So she adjusted. What I’m telling her is to give her best whatever her role is,” saad ni Almadro.
