Si Arap ay inaresto ng mga tauhan ng Zamboanga City Police Station 11, Regional Intelligence Unit-9, Zamboanga City Mobile Force Company, Regional Mobile Force Battalion-0 at Coast Guard District Western Mindanao sa isinagawang law enforcement operation sa Barangay Talisayan.
