Timbog sa ikinasang entrapment operation ang isang babaeng pulismatapos umanong mangingikil sa kapwa niya kabaro noong Sabado.
Ayon sa Philippine National Police–Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG), naaresto sa mismong opisina niya sa Makati City Central Police Station si Corporal Michelle Anne Repolles. Huli sa akto ng mga operatiba ang pagtanggap niya ng marked money kapalit ang umano’y pagpapalipat ng assignment ng isang pulis.
Nabisto ang kanyang aktibidades matapos magreklamo sa PNP-IMEG ang tatlong complainant.
Ayon kay Police Brigadier General Warren de Leon, hepe ng PNP-IMEG, isang operatiba ang nakipagtransaksyon kay Repolles. Ang pakilala raw ng suspek, may koneksyon sya sa Directorate for Personnel and Records Management (DPRM). Ang DPRM ang namamahala sa pagpo-proseso ng reassignment order.
Sinisingil umano ni Repolles ang mga biktima ng P10,000 hanggang P30,000.
Iginiit naman ng PNP-IMEG na walang bayad ang pagre-reassignment.
Mahaharap sa kasong robbery extortion at administrative cases si Repolles.
