Sinabi rin ni Abalos na karamihan sa mga suspek sa pagpatay kay Degamo at walo pang iba ay nasa kamay na ng mga awtoridad.
Dagdag pa nito, hawak narin ng mga awtoridad ang “forensics” na nag uugnay sa mga ginamit na armas sa nangyaring pamamaslang.
“Yung mga ebidensya, yan nasa harap ninyo, napakarami at hindi pa yan. Hindi lang namin dinala dito yung IED, ano ba yung IED. Sa ating mga kababayan ito ay improvised explosive
device. Yung talagang sumasabog na puwede mo gamitin yung cellphone mo,” ani ni Abalos.
Para iwaksi ang mga pahayag na maaaring itanim ang ebidensya, ipinakita ni Abalos ang mga video at larawan ng backhoe na naghuhukay sa compound ni Ex-Negros Oriental Gov. Pryde Henry Teves kung saan natuklasan ang mga piraso ng ebidensya.
