Maingat umanong pinagplanuhan ng isang armadong dating mag-aaral ng Christian Covenant School ang pag-patay sa tatlong bata at tatlong school staff sa Nashville, Tennessee noong Lunes, March 27.
Ayon sa chief of police ng Metropolitan Nashville Police Department na si John Drake, ang suspek ay ang dating estudyante ng nasabing school na si Audrey Hale, 28-taong gulang na babae, na napag-alamang isang transgender.
Si Hale ay may mga mapa ng paaralan at “prepared for a confrontation with law enforcement,” sinabi ng hepe ng pulisya sa mga mamamahayag kasunod ng pinakahuling gun violence sa Estados Unidos.
Armado ng hindi bababa sa dalawang assault rifles at isang handgun, pumasok si Hale sa Christian Covenant School mula sa isang gilid na pasukan, na sinasabing pinagbababaril ang isang pinto at pinaputukan ng maraming beses habang papasok ito sa gusali.
Napatay naman ang suspek matapos makipag-barilan sa mga otoridad.
Kinilala ng pulisya ang anim na biktima, sinabing isa sa tatlong bata ay walong taong gulang at dalawa ay siyam na taong gulang, habang ang mga may edad na napatay ay nasa edad 60 hanggang 61.
Ayon naman kay Nashville fire department spokesperson na si Kendra Looney, lahat ng hindi nasaktan na mga mag-aaral ay inihatid palabas ng gusali kasama ang mga guro at kawani.
