Sinasabing nasa 69% na ang 3.17-kilometer Panguil Bay Bridge Project na nagkakahalaga ng P7.37 Billion.
Ayon kay Senior Undersecretary Emil K. Sadain ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), inaasahan na 95% nang tapos ang inter-island bridge project sa March 2024 at posibleng buksan na ito ng June 2024 kung hindi magiging sagabal ang anumang sama ng panahon habang patuloy ang kokstruksyon nito.
“We are particularly excited about the upcoming completion of the Panguil Bay Bridge Project, which we believe marks a significant milestone for the whole Mindanao,” ani Sadain.
Magiging pitong minuto na lamang ang byahe sa pagitan ng Tangub City sa Misamis Occidental at Tubod, Lanao Del Norte na dati-rati ay inaabot ng dalawa hanggang dalawa’t kalahating oras.Inaasahan ang malaking tulong ng nasabing tulay sa economic growth ng rehiyon dahil magiging gateway ito pagpapalakas ng transportation ng goods at services.
