Nag-remit noong nakaraang Lunes ang Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) ng P2.6 bilyon sa National Treasury na idadagdag sa kaban ng bayan.
Personal na inabot ni PCSO General Manager Mel Robles kay Deputy Treasurer Erwin Sta. Ana ng Bureau of Treasury (BTr) ang cheke na nagkakahalaga ng P2,665,701,213.78.
Ang P2.6 bilyon ay mula sa remittance ng ahensya sa taong-2022. Lumobo ng 70% ang pondo ng ahensya kumpara sa pondo nito noong 2021.
Nagpasalamat si GM Robles sa suporta ng mga PCSO officials maging sa mga empleyado nito.
“We are proud to contribute to the government’s coffers. The P2.6 billion represents our unwavering commitment to serve the needs of the people,” ani Mel Robles.
Hinikayat din ni Robles ang publiko na patuloy na suportahan ang mga programa ng PSCO.
“Sa halagang bente makakatulong ka na sa bayan mo,” ani Mel Robles.
