Sanib-pwersa ang Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at si First Lady Marie Louise Araneta Marcos sa launching ng “LAB for ALL” program sa San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Sa kaniyang speech, sinabi ni DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian na todo ang kanilang suporta sa LAB for ALL initiative ng First Lady para makapagbigay ng medical at health care assistance direkta sa mga mahihirap na Pilipino.
“Kasama po dito sa LAB for ALL ang DSWD dahil katulad ng napag-usapan po namin ng ating mahal na Unang Ginang, Atty. Liza Araneta Marcos, yung mga gagastusin po natin pagkatapos nitong LAB for ALL ay hindi maibibigay ngayon kaya tatapatan naman ng financial assistance ng DSWD mamaya pagkatapos po ng ating buong proseso,” ani Gatchalian.
Ang LAB for ALL o Laboratoryo, Konsulta at Gamot Para sa Lahat ang isa sa mga initiatives ni FL Marcos na magbibigay ng libreng konsultasyon, health screening at assessment, laboratory tests at gamot na maging mas accessible sa mga ordinaryong Pinoy.Mahigit 3,000 beneficiaries ang nakatanggap ng P2,000 kada isa o may total na P6 million sa ilalim ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS).
