Mandaluyong City – A lucky housewife from Bacoor City, Cavite has become the latest Super Lotto 6/49 jackpot winner, taking home a massive PHP 15,840,000.00 in the December 22, 2024 draw. The lucky winner claimed her winnings at the PCSO Main Office in Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City, on December 23, 2024.
The winning ticket, purchased from a lotto outlet in Molino 4, Bacoor City, matched the winning combination: 21-10-13-31-07-18. These numbers were selected by randomly marking the bet slip without any specific pattern, which led to her win.
The winner, a 49-year-old housewife, expressed her disbelief and excitement upon hearing the news. She mentioned that she has been playing lotto for 26 years, mostly winning in the 2D and 4D Lotto games, but never in the big jackpot draws before.
“Never po akong nanalo ng mga major prizes gaya nito, not even po consolation prizes,” she shared. “Sobrang saya ko po ngayon at di pa rin makapaniwala kaya nagpapasalamat po ako kay Lord at sa PCSO.”
The lucky winner plans to use her winnings to invest in business ventures and secure the future of her children by allocating funds for their education.
The PCSO reminded the public that in order to claim winnings, jackpot winners must present the original signed winning ticket and two valid government-issued IDs.
According to the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, prizes exceeding PHP 10,000.00 are subject to a 20% tax deduction. Winners are also required to claim their prizes within one year from the draw date; unclaimed prizes will be deposited into the PCSO Charity Fund.
Super Lotto 6/49 draws are held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday at 9:00 PM and are broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV, and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
