Mandaluyong City – A bettor from Valenzuela City bagged the P19.4-million jackpot in the Lotto 6/42 drawn last January 11, 2025 with the winning combination 09-38-23-12-32-29.
The winner, a motorcycle Transportation Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) driver, said he had been playing the lotto for two years before finally hitting the jackpot.
“Tumataya po ako kapag may extra kita at malakas po ang biyahe,” he shared.
The new millionaire said he will use the money for the construction of a new house and for the tuition of his child.
He advised the public about trying their luck in the lottery, saying, “Wala naman pong masamang sumubok sa lotto. Sa kagaya ko pong isang “Angkas” driver na naghahangad lang na guminhawa ang buhay huwag nyo pong susukuan
ang inyong mga pangarap. Samahan nyo lang po ng sipag at dasal para pagkalooban din po kayo ng swerte.”
He claimed his winnings amounting to Php19,489,253.80 at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
In accordance with the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, prizes above Php10,000.00 are subject to
20% tax and should be claimed within one year from the conducted draw date or else will be declared null and void pursuant to the PCSO Charter (RA 1169).
The PCSO assures all winners that their personal information will be kept confidential for their safety and security.
Lotto 6/42 draws take place every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 9:00 PM and are broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV Channel and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
