PCSO continues to prioritize the welfare of vulnerable sectors of society as General Manager Melquiades Robles personally handed over 50 wheelchairs to Senior Citizen Partylist Representative Rodolfo Ordanes during a turnover ceremony on February 13, 2025, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
These wheelchairs are set to be distributed to senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). This initiative aims to enhance mobility, independence, and overall quality of life, ensuring that beneficiaries can navigate their daily lives with greater ease and dignity.
With great appreciation, Representative Ordanes remarked, “These wheelchairs will be an exceptional help to our vulnerable communities, especially senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs). Many of them often forgo such essential devices due to financial constraints, prioritizing other urgent needs. Thank you, PCSO, for making this program possible and giving them access to much-needed mobility support.”
This project is part of PCSO’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which is dedicated to creating equitable access to those who need assistance.
