MANDALUYONG CITY — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, turned over Charitimba food packs, medical devices, rescue equipment, and mobility aids to Baguio City’s lone district during a turnover ceremony held on Jan. 28, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Representing the district was Paolo Dela Cruz, Special Assistant to Congressman Mauricio Domogan, who personally received 500 charitimba, medical devices, rescue equipment, and mobility aids, all intended to support the district’s local health and social welfare initiatives.
The items were formally turned over by PCSO Assistant General Manager for Charity Sector, Mr. Lauro A. Patiag, who emphasized the agency’s continuing commitment to extending timely and meaningful support to communities, particularly those catering to the needs of marginalized sectors.
According to the beneficiaries, the donated items will be utilized through the Office of Congressman Domogan’s local health programs to serve Baguio residents, with priority given to financially challenged individuals, senior citizens, and other vulnerable groups.
Also present during the event was Atty. Xana Frivaldo, a member of Congressman Domogan’s entourage, who joined PCSO officials and representatives in witnessing the turnover ceremony.
The initiative underscores PCSO’s sustained efforts to strengthen grassroots health and welfare services nationwide through strategic partnerships with local government units and congressional offices.
