MANDALUYONG CITY, Philippines – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated ChariTimba food packs to the Second District of Batangas during a turnover ceremony held on August 26, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office.
PCSO Executive Assistant Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Ventanilla led the turnover of the food assistance packages to Albert Mendoza, Political Affairs Officer II and representative of Rep. Atty. Gerville “Jinky Bitrics” Luistro.
The ChariTimba packages contain essential food items intended to support individuals and families in need, particularly those affected by recent calamities and economic challenges.
Mendoza expressed his gratitude to PCSO for its continued support for the people of Batangas. He noted that the donated food packs would provide much-needed assistance to families affected by the recent southwest monsoon, locally known as habagat, and help address their immediate needs.
The activity forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to provide timely assistance and promote more inclusive and compassionate public service for Filipinos across the country.
With the Charitimba program, PCSO brings much-needed support closer to communities, helping families address immediate needs and recover from the challenges brought about by calamities and other hardship.
