PCSO STRENGTHENS HEALTHCARE SUPPORT THROUGH DONATION OF MOBILITY AIDS, NEBULIZERS TO SORSOGON

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues to advance its commitment to public healthcare by donating mobility aids and nebulizers to beneficiaries in the First District of Sorsogon during a turnover ceremony held on August 12, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The medical devices were formally turned over by PCSO Executive Assistant Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Ventanilla to Jean Carla Sapallo, Chief of Staff and representative of Sorsogon First District Representative Bernadette Escudero.

During the ceremony, Sapallo expressed her gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support to local communities. She emphasized that the donated mobility aids and nebulizers would significantly benefit residents of the district, particularly senior citizens and persons with disabilities (PWDs) who require assistance with mobility and access to essential healthcare services.

According to Sapallo, the donation will help address the needs of vulnerable sectors in the community by providing equipment that can improve their quality of life and support their health and well-being.

The turnover activity forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, an initiative aimed at delivering assistance and opportunities to various sectors of society through charitable and humanitarian programs. Through such efforts, the agency continues to promote inclusive and compassionate public service while supporting communities in need.
