December 16, 2025 — With hearts full of respect and centered on compassion, the BITAG Multimedia Network (BMN) and NGO-IpaBITAGmo Inc. (IBMI) recently visited the elderly residents of God’s Grace Home Care Center in Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City. The visit was a heartfelt effort to show that our senior citizens—the pillars of our society—are never forgotten.
God’s Grace Home Care Center serves as a haven for 78 senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. True to its mission, the center acts as an “extended family,” providing specialized attention and comfort that they describe as love “beyond compare.”
The center’s administrator shared the reality of their operations: while some families pay fees, many residents are catered to as part of their charity program. Regardless of financial capability, every senior is treated with the same dignity and care. “We cannot simply turn them away,” the center shared, emphasizing their commitment to providing a home for those with nowhere else to go.
Heartfelt Donations and Shared Moments
To support the center’s daily needs, NGO-IBMI and BMN provided 50 sacks of 25kg rice and 50 shared meal packs for the seniors. The joy among the residents was palpable as the team sat down to share food and conversation.
A representative from the center expressed deep gratitude, noting that such acts of kindness do more than just fill stomachs—they lift spirits. “What you are sharing with us makes the elderly very happy. Lucky are the receivers, but the givers are more blessed,” they remarked.
‘BITAG’
While known to the public for his tough stance against scammers and abusers, Ben ‘BITAG’ showed a different side during the visit. Acting strictly as a volunteer, he clarified that BITAG Multimedia Network’s presence was to document and cover the event to amplify the advocacy.
He emphasized that the items distributed were donations entrusted to the NGO-IBMI, and his role was to ensure they reached those who needed them most.
“People see the ‘BITAG’ persona as someone who is always angry at those who take advantage of others. But in truth, we have a soft heart for the vulnerable, especially the children and the elderly,” Ms. Charms Mateo, BMUI’s VP for External and Legal Affairs said.
Broadening the outreach
BITAG hopes to attract more donors and supporters by featuring God’s Grace Home Care Center on BITAG’s platforms and showcasing the center’s selfless work.
This visit serves as a cornerstone of the Bitag Multimedia Network and NGO-IpaBITAGmo Inc. advocacy: to be a constant source of support for the elderly who require continuous love and attention.
