The Land Transportation Office (LTO) issued resolutions against the two drivers in Parañaque City involved in separate traffic incidents that caused injuries to two individuals and the death of a three-year-old child.
The resolutions were issued after LTO’s Intelligence and Investigation Division (IID) concluded that drivers, Raymond Zapirain and Rodolfo Cudiamat were both liable for administrative violations of Reckless Driving and Improper Person to Operate Motor Vehicles.
The resolutions also ordered that the driver’s licenses of Zapirain and Cudiamat be revoked and that both be perpetually disqualified from securing a driver’s license and driving a motor vehicle.
Both drivers were instructed to turn over their licenses to the LTO NCR-West Traffic Adjudication Section and fined P2,000.00 for the Reckless Driving infraction.
Zapirain is the registered owner and driver of the Mitsubishi Pajero with plate number UXO-295 that sideswiped and seriously injured 63-year-old street sweeper Doreen Bacus last September 24, 2022 along Elizalde Avenue corner Aguirre Avenue, Brgy. BF Homes, Parañaque City.
On the other hand, Cudiamat is the driver of a motor vehicle with plate number NCV-4752, with the name Visitacion Hugo as its registered owner. The vehicle was involved in a hit-and-run incident that resulted in the death of a three-year-old child and caused injuries to her companion.
