The provincial government of Marinduque received various mobility aids, medical devices, and 1,000 Charitimba from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) in a turnover ceremony held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office’s Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
The donation was formally turned over by PCSO Assistant General Manager (AGM) for Charity Sector, Atty. Lauro Patiag, as part of the agency’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), which aims to extend medical and social assistance to communities nationwide.
Receiving the assistance on behalf of the Marinduque Provincial Government was Board Member Joam Morales, Chairperson of the Committee on Health and Nutrition who represented Governor Melecio Go.The items are intended to support the province’s health and welfare initiatives, particularly for indigent and vulnerable residents in need of medical support and mobility assistance.
According to PCSO officials, the distribution of mobility aids and medical devices underscored the agency’s commitment to improving access to essential healthcare services, while the provision of Charitimba further strengthens local health programs at the grassroots level.
The provincial government of Marinduque expressed its gratitude to PCSO for the continued support, noting that the donated items will be distributed to local citizens through the province’s ongoing health and social welfare programs, ensuring that assistance reaches those who need it most.
