NEGROS OCCIDENTAL BETTOR CLAIMS ₱15-M JACKPOT IN MEGA LOTTO 6/45

MANDALUYONG CITY — A long-time Lotto enthusiast from Negros Occidental is now a millionaire after claiming the ₱15,000,000.00 jackpot prize from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on August 17, 2026. 

The lucky bettor matched the winning combination 27-29-34-08-32-36 in the Mega Lotto 6/45 draw held on August 3, 2026. The winning ticket was purchased from a Lotto outlet in Negros Occidental.

After learning about the winning ticket, the bettor and siblings traveled all the way from Negros Occidental to Manila to personally claim the jackpot prize at the PCSO Main Office. 

A Lotto enthusiast for around 20 years, the winner shared that she used to play Lucky Pick most of the time.

he newly minted millionaire said that the jackpot prize will be used to invest in a business and help her siblings and their families.

The winner also expressed her gratitude for the unexpected blessing and encouraged fellow Lotto players to continue playing responsibly.

The PCSO, meanwhile, reminds all jackpot winners to sign the back of their winning ticket immediately and claim their prizes within one year from the date of the draw. In accordance with the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law, jackpot prizes exceeding ₱10,000 are subject to a 20% final tax.

Through every Lotto ticket purchased, the public also helps fund the PCSO’s charity programs, including medical assistance, health services, and other initiatives that benefit Filipinos in need.

The Mega Lotto 6/45 draws are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 p.m., and are broadcast live on IBC-13, D8TV, and the PCSO Games Online Hub Facebook page.
