PCSO DELIVERS FREE HEALTH SERVICES TO INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY IN RIZAL

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office conducted a free medical and dental mission on February 6, 2026, for the benefit of the indigenous community in Barangay Puray, Rodriguez, Rizal.

A total of 288 beneficiaries received essential healthcare services, including free consultations, medicines, ECG examinations, and dental extractions. These services provided much-needed support to the residents, particularly the members of the Dinagat Tribe within the barangay.

The initiative, held at Tribal Hall Covered Court, was made possible through a partnership with the 405th Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion, the 405th Community Defense Center, 4RCDG, and the Philippine Army Reserve Command.

The health-centered activity was organized by PCSO Director Imelda Papin and led by Medical Doctor Rouel Aparato, along with a dedicated team from the Medical Services Department.

Lieutenant Colonel Roberto Beatisula Junior, Director of the 405th Community Defense Center, and Major Gary Estrada Ejercito, Battalion Commander, joined the Philippine Army Reservists in expressing their deep gratitude to the PCSO. They commended the agency for its prompt response and commitment to bringing vital medical services directly to the community.

Through this event, PCSO continues to show its dedication to serving the health and well-being of every Filipino.
