PCSO DISTRIBUTES 1,000 CHARITIMBA, 25 WHEELCHAIRS TO RESIDENTS OF BULAN, SORSOGON

BULAN, Sorsogon — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,000 Charitimba and 25 wheelchairs to residents of Bulan, Sorsogon on January 21, 2026, as part of its continuing charitable initiatives under the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program.

The distribution, held at Bulan Freedom Park, was led by PCSO Director Janet De Leon Mercado in coordination with the Sangguniang Bayan of Bulan and local barangay officials, under the leadership of Mayor Romeo Gordola. Beneficiaries included indigent families, senior citizens, and persons with disabilities (PWDs), who received food assistance and mobility aids.

Local government officials and beneficiaries expressed their appreciation for the timely assistance extended by PCSO, citing the significant relief it provided to vulnerable sectors of the community.

The outreach activity forms part of PCSO’s CSR Program, which aims to deliver sustained social assistance and extend support to communities nationwide, in line with the agency’s mandate to promote public welfare and social development.
