PCSO DISTRIBUTES 1,300 CHARITIMBA TO RESIDENTS OF SAN MIGUEL AND CALUMPIT, BULACAN

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) distributed 1,300 Charitimba to residents of San Miguel and Calumpit, Bulacan, on January 29, 2026, as part of the agency’s charitable programs.

The distribution was led by PCSO Director Janet Mercado, who personally turned over 500 Charitimba to senior citizens of Barangay Bantog, San Miguel, Bulacan. The activity was held at Bantog Elementary School in coordination with the Sangguniang Barangay, headed by Chairperson Albert Silva.

This was followed by the distribution of 300 Charitimba to families from Barangay Iba O’ Este, Calumpit, Bulacan, which was conducted at the Barangay Covered Court, in partnership with the Sangguniang Barangay, led by Chairperson Alexander Manio.

An additional 500 Charitimba were also distributed upon the request of the Local Government Unit of Calumpit. The assistance benefited members of the Tiger Ladies Federation during the distribution held at the Municipal Gymnasium, in coordination with the Sangguniang Bayan under the leadership of Mayor Lem Faustino.

The activity was carried out under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of PCSO as part of its ongoing efforts to address the needs of various communities.
