The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) provided medical equipment and hygiene kits to the Municipality of Pila, Laguna, during a turnover ceremony held on September 14, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Sangguniang Bayan member Carlito Magpily received the donated items from PCSO Chairperson Judge Felix P. Reyes, General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, and Directors Janet De Leon-Mercado and Jennifer Liongson-Guevara.
The donated medical equipment and mobility aids included wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, canes, blood pressure apparatus, nebulizers, glucometers, thermal scanners, pulse oximeters, weighing scales, and oxygen tanks. Hygiene kits were also provided as additional assistance to the beneficiaries.
Magpily thanked the PCSO for extending assistance to Pila, saying that the support reflects the agency’s commitment to helping communities and making essential services more accessible to those who need them.
The activity is part of the PCSO Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, which aims to support local government units in addressing the health and welfare needs of their communities.
