MANDALUYONG CITY — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) turned over wheelchairs, medical devices and hygiene kits to the 1st District of Camarines Norte on August 11,2026, at the PCSO Main Office.
Executive Assistant VI Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla formally handed over the donation to Jocelyn Villanueva, Political Affairs Officer II, on behalf of Camarines Norte 1st District Representative Josefina Tallado, who accepted the donation on behalf of the beneficiaries.
The donated items included 30 units each of wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, BP apparatuses, nebulizers, glucometers, thermal scanners, pulse oximeters, 10 units of weighing scales, 15 oxygen tanks with regulators and 250 pcs. hygiene kits.
Villanueva thanked PCSO for the timely assistance and said the donated items will be distributed to senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWD’s), women and indigent residents of said district.
She added that the donated mobility aids would help improve the recipients’ mobility, independence, and overall quality of life, especially those who have long struggled without access to essential assistive devices.
The donation forms part of PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, which aims to deliver responsive health and social support to underserved communities nationwide.
