The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues to strengthen its commitment to accessible and community-based healthcare through its Medicine Donation Program, extending much-needed medical assistance to beneficiaries in Valenzuela City.
In a simple turnover ceremony held on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at the Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City, PCSO, represented by Nurse II Joanne Alonzo, formally turned over medicines worth Php30,000 each to Barangay Arkong Bato and the 1st District of Valenzuela.
Representing the beneficiaries during the turnover were staff member, Aaron D. Castillo of the 1st District of Valenzuela, and Jonathan Bautista, staff member of Barangay Arkong Bato.
The donated medicines are expected to benefit residents within their respective communities, particularly individuals and families with limited access to essential healthcare services. Local representatives assured PCSO that the medicines would be distributed to deserving constituents to help address their immediate medical needs.
The Medicine Donation Program remains one of PCSO’s key initiatives in bringing healthcare assistance closer to communities by providing local government units and community organizations with much-needed medicines.
Through sustained partnerships with local leaders and grassroots organizations, PCSO continues to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery and ensure that vital medicines reach Filipinos who need them most.
