The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), under the leadership of General Manager Melquiades Robles, held a simple turnover ceremony for its latest medical assistance initiative on Monday, January 12, 2026, at the PCSO Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
Representing the agency during the ceremony were Medical Services Department Manager Dr. Clarissa Ferrer and Division Chief III Dr. Rouel Aparato. The beneficiary of the donation was the lone district of Baguio, represented by Congressman Mauricio Domogan, with Paulo Dela Cruz attending the event on his behalf.
PCSO turned over various boxes of essential medicines amounting to ₱30,000. The donated supplies will support the district’s ongoing health programs, particularly medical missions and outreach activities aimed at assisting marginalized residents and senior citizens who have limited access to healthcare support.
According to PCSO, the initiative forms part of the agency’s continuing commitment to extend medical aid to communities nationwide through its Medicine Donation Program, one of the key components of its broader charity mandate. The agency emphasized that such efforts are aligned with its mission to reinforce local health services and strengthen public access to life-saving medications.
PCSO officials expressed optimism that the donation will help alleviate the medical needs of Baguio residents and reinforce the district’s community health engagements. The agency reaffirmed its dedication to sustaining medical and humanitarian assistance programs, echoing its well-known commitment: “PCSO Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong!.”
