The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) continues to strengthen healthcare services in local communities through its Medicine Donation Program, extending much-needed medical assistance to beneficiaries in Bohol, Bicol, and Batangas.
On Thursday, August 13, 2026, PCSO representatives Dra. Clarissa Ferrer and Dr. Rouel Aparato led the turnover of medicines to the Municipality of Trinidad in Bohol, the 2nd District of Camarines Norte in Bicol Region, and the Municipality of Alitagtag in Batangas during a simple ceremony held at the Conservatory Building in Mandaluyong City.
Ma. Meria Ibaoc accepted the donation on behalf of the Municipality of Trinidad, Bohol, while Brenda Osoro received the medicines for the 2nd District of Camarines Norte. Alitagtag, Batangas Vice Mayor Manuel Abrigo personally received the assistance on behalf of the municipality.
The donated medicines are expected to augment the healthcare programs of the beneficiaries and provide additional support to residents who have limited access to essential medical supplies.
The recipients expressed their gratitude to the PCSO Board for its continued commitment to improving healthcare services, particularly in provincial communities where access to medicines remains a significant concern.
The activity was carried out through the agency’s Medicine Donation Program, one of PCSO’s initiatives aimed at strengthening public health services and ensuring that underserved communities receive the medical support they need.
