The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) extended assistance to the 12th Civil-Military Battalion through the distribution of Charitimba food packs on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Representing the PCSO during the turnover was Atty. Maria Katrina Nicole Contacto-Ventanilla, Executive Assistant VI. The assistance was received by Capt. Bernadeth Libor-HQS Commandant, representing the 12th Civil-Military Battalion.
The food packs are intended to provide immediate food assistance and support to the beneficiaries served by the 12th Civil-Military Battalion, reflecting the value of collective efforts in responding to community needs.
The initiative was carried out under the PCSO’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program, one of the agency’s avenues for extending assistance to various sectors and communities beyond its regular charitable services.
For PCSO, the turnover is more than the distribution of food packs; it is a reaffirmation of its commitment to making its charitable programs accessible to organizations and communities that need assistance.
As the agency continues to fulfill its mandate of public service, every donation creates an opportunity to reach more people and demonstrate that compassion, partnership, and service remain at the heart of PCSO’s charitable mission.
