MANILA, Philippines — Bitag Media Unlimited Inc. (BMUI), the producer of long-standing public service on television and digital platform BITAG was honored during the 2025 Gawad Pag-IBIG para sa Media.
Held at the historic Manila Hotel on January 28, 2026, BMUI Chief Operations Officer Carl Tulfo personally accepted the recognition representing the “Next Generation” of BITAG’s leadership.
Top Honors in the Online News Category
BITAG Media was specifically recognized as the “Network with Highest Free Media” under the Online News Entity category. This award highlights BMUI’s significant contribution in disseminating vital information regarding Pag-IBIG Fund’s programs and benefits to the Filipino public through its extensive and most effective online reach.
The award was presented by Pag-IBIG Fund CEO Marilene Acosta, alongside other top Pag-IBIG officials, who lauded the media’s role as a bridge between the government and its members.
A Night for Philippine Media
The 2025 Gawad Pag-IBIG was a gathering of the country’s media giants. Aside from BMUI, various television, print, and radio networks affiliated with Pag-IBIG were also recognized for their unwavering support in promoting the fund’s mission of providing affordable housing and savings for every Filipino worker.
