MANDALUYONG CITY — Two barangays in Quezon City and the Municipality of Magdiwang, Romblon received donated medicines through the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Medicine Donation Program during a turnover ceremony held at the PCSO Conservatory Building on August 25, 2026.
Barangay Kalusugan, Area 21, District IV, Quezon City, represented by Chairperson Rocky DC Rabanal, received medicines to support the healthcare needs of their respective constituents.
Also receiving medical assistance was Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, District V, Quezon City, represented by Kagawad Janelle Calma, M.D.
Meanwhile, Mayor Noel Joseph Marin Machon personally received the donated medicines on behalf of the Municipality of Magdiwang, Romblon.
The recipients expressed their appreciation to PCSO General Manager Melquiades A. Robles for the approval of their requests and for the agency’s assistance in addressing the healthcare needs of their respective constituents.
The donated medicines will be utilized for the recipients’ healthcare programs and services, helping provide essential medication to residents who require medical support.
Through its Medicine Donation Program, PCSO continues to provide medical assistance to local government units, barangays, and other qualified beneficiaries as part of its mandate to extend support to Filipinos in need.
