PCSO EXTENDS MEDICINE AID TO FAR-FLUNG ISLAND MUNICIPALITY OF TINGLOY, BATANGAS

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has extended a variety of much-needed medicines to the island municipality of Tingloy, Batangas, through the Office of PCSO Director Janet De Leon-Mercado, reaching one of the province’s far-flung communities.

The medicines were formally turned over by Dr. Rouel Aparato of the PCSO Medical Services Department and Ruben Plata of the Office of Director Janet De Leon-Mercado to Shylla Jane Marquez on September 22, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The donation came in response to a request from Vice Mayor Dawn Erika Alvarez, who sought assistance to help address the health needs of Tingloy’s island residents.

Through this initiative, PCSO reaffirms its commitment to extending medical assistance even to far-flung and island communities, helping ensure that no Filipino is left without access to the healthcare support they need.
