PCSO EMPOWERS COMMUNITIES WITH VITAL MOBILITY AIDS, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT

MANDALUYONG CITY — Bringing essential healthcare assistance closer to communities in need, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), under the leadership of General Manager Melquiades A. Robles, turned over mobility aids and medical supplies to local government and party list beneficiaries through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office.

The initiative benefited the First District of Zambales, Lone District of Iloilo, and 4Ps Partylist.

Zambales First District Representative Jefferson Khonghun personally received 50 units each of wheelchairs, nebulizers, crutches, blood pressure (BP) apparatuses, and walkers from PCSO.

Meanwhile, Iloilo Lone District Representative Julienne “Jam-Jam” Linaogo Baronda received 20 units each of BP apparatuses, wheelchairs, nebulizers, crutches, and canes, which will be distributed to constituents in need.

Also receiving assistance was 4Ps Partylist Representative Jonathan Clement Abalos II, who accepted 50 wheelchairs and 50 walkers for beneficiaries of the partylist.

The recipients expressed their appreciation to PCSO and assured GM Robles that the donated equipment would be properly distributed to deserving constituents who need them most, particularly individuals with mobility challenges and families requiring basic medical support.

The turnover highlighted PCSO’s continuing commitment to ensuring that its charity resources reach communities where they can create the greatest impact. More than simply providing equipment, the assistance also intended to give beneficiaries greater mobility, improved access to basic healthcare, and renewed hope.
