MANDALUYONG CITY – Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Melquiades A. Robles led the formal turnover ceremony of ChariTimba and hygiene kits to Buklod Unlad ng Batangas, Inc. (BUBI) on September 23, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office.
The donated assistance was personally received by BUBI President Joel De Gracia. According to De Gracia, the ChariTimba units will be distributed to residents affected by the recent typhoon in Barangay Salong, Calaca, Batangas, while the hygiene kits will be provided to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) housed at the Women Correctional Facility in Batangas City.
De Gracia expressed his appreciation to the PCSO for its continued support of communities and sectors in need of immediate assistance. He noted that the donated items would provide significant relief to the beneficiaries, helping them recover from their current challenges and rebuild their lives.
The activity forms part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of the PCSO, which aims to deliver meaningful assistance and support to various communities, organizations, and sectors across the country.
Through initiatives such as this, the agency continues to demonstrate its commitment to improving the welfare of Filipinos in need and extending compassionate service to vulnerable groups.
With its continued partnership with organizations such as BUBI, the PCSO hopes to reach more beneficiaries and further expand the impact of its charitable and social development programs nationwide.
