The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) donated medicines to Barangays Santa Catalina and Capas in Binalonan, Pangasinan, during a turnover ceremony held on September 29, 2026, at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
Dr. Zelda Ganancial of the PCSO Medical Services Department (MSD) formally handed over the medicines under the agency’s Medicine Donation Program. Punong Barangay Rolando Tambo received the donation on behalf of Barangay Santa Catalina, while Punong Barangay Fulgencio Castada Jr. received the medicines for Barangay Capas
Beyond the provision of medicines, the donation reflects the PCSO’s commitment to making healthcare assistance more accessible to communities, particularly those that need additional support in addressing the medical needs of their constituents.
Through the Medicine Donation Program, the PCSO empowers local government units and community leaders by strengthening their capacity to respond to the healthcare needs of their constituents, while helping supplement available medical resources in communities where they are most needed.
As the agency continues to reach communities across the country, the PCSO remains steadfast in fulfilling its mandate to provide meaningful assistance to Filipinos in need.
