MANDALUYONG CITY – The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) handed over various medical devices and ChariTimba food packs to the 2nd District of Rizal Province during a turnover ceremony held at its Main Office along Shaw Boulevard on August 17, 2026.
The turnover was led by PCSO Chairperson Retired Judge Felix Reyes, together with Director Janet De Leon Mercado, who formally handed over the assistance to Congressman Emigdio Tanjuatco III.
The donated medical devices will support school clinics and Barangay Health Units in seven municipalities, namely, Baras, Cardona, Teresa, Pililla, Jalajala, Morong, and Tanay, while the ChariTimba food packs will be distributed to families affected by the recent typhoons.
Congressman Tanjuatco expressed his gratitude to the PCSO for its continued support, noting that the assistance would greatly benefit his constituents. He emphasized that the medical equipment would help improve the delivery of basic health services, while the ChariTimba would provide much-needed relief to residents affected by disasters.
The activity forms part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of the PCSO, which aims to extend meaningful assistance and promote the welfare of Filipinos in need across the country.
