PNP-FEO REVOKES GUN LICENSE OF GUN OWNER AFTER BITAG INVESTIGATION

Following a series of complaints from residents in Taytay, Rizal, the PNP-Firearms and Explosives Office (FEO) has officially cancelled the gun license of a former Homeowners Association (HOA) president.

The decision comes after an investigation into an incident where the respondent allegedly indiscriminately pointed a gun at residents. During a visit to Camp Crame, the BITAG Investigation Team confirmed from the officers of PNP-FEO that the suspect’s license is now cancelled.

Guns to be Confiscated

Aside from losing the legal right to own a firearm, the PNP will also confiscate the respondent’s weapons. This serves as a strong warning to all gun owners that abusive behavior and the misuse of firearms will not be tolerated.

BITAG continues to monitor this case.
