Former President Rodrigo Duterte has been declared by the provincial government an ‘adopted son’ of the Province of Pampanga on Thursday, January 26.
The declaration was approved by the provincial legislative council of Pampanga under Resolution No. 7643.
According Resolution No. 7643, the province of Pampanga thanked Duterte for its “relentless campaign against illegal drugs, corruption in government”.
Pampanga also considers Duterte as an ‘inspiring ally’ in the progress and development of the province.
The former President attended the event in his honor at the Royce Hotel in Clark, Pampanga during the “Handog pasasalamat ng mga Kapampangan kay Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.”
Former President and now Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Aroyo also expressed gratitude to Duterte’s major contribution and projects that have long term economic impact on the province.
